OLD FASHIONED HAPPY HOUR RECIPES
PRESCRIPTION SAZARAC
INGREDIENTS
3/4 oz Rye Whiskey
3/4 oz Cognac
1/4 oz Demerara Syrup
1/4 oz Absinthe
3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
DIRECTIONS
• Rinse a chilled glass with absinthe.
• Add remaining ingredients.
• Add ice.
• Stir 10 sec. until cold.
• Garnish with lemon peel.
SPICED RYE OLD FASHIONED
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz Rye
1/4 oz Vanilla Demerara Syrup
(Mix 1 part Water with 2 parts Demerara Sugar (sugar in the raw). Heat and stir until fully dissolved. Add splash of vanilla extract.)
1 dash Orange Bitters
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
DIRECTIONS
• Combine ingredients in glass.
• Add ice.
• Stir 10 sec. until cold.
• Garnish with orange zest.
