Hurricane
SERVES 1
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz Aged Rum
1 oz Fassionola Syrup*
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
Garnish: 1/2 Orange Wheel, Cherry
*Fassionola Syrup: Combine 1 part blueberries, 1 part strawberries, 1/2 part dried hibiscus, and 2 parts water in pot over medium heat. Lightly muddle. Add 4 parts pineapple juice, 1 part guava nectar, and 1 part passion fruit purée while stirring in 5 parts white sugar until dissolved. Allow to cool, then strain into container.
Combine ingredients in a shaker. Add ice and shake for 10-20 seconds until cold. Strain into a collins or tulip glass over crushed ice, and garnish with half an orange wheel and cherry. Enjoy!
Apple Brandy Crusta
SERVES 1
INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz Apple Brandy
1/2 oz Orange Curaçao
1/2 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
2 Dashes Aromatic Bitters
1 Sugared Rim
Garnish: Dehydrated Apple
Add all ingredients into a shaker. Add ice and shake for 10-20 seconds until cold. Strain the liquid into a coupe glass with a sugared rim and garnish with a dehydrated apple slice. Enjoy!
Pineapple Sazerac
SERVES 1
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz Pineapple Rum
1/2 oz Overproof Dark Rum
1/8 - 1/4 oz Demerara Syrup
3 Dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1 Absinthe Rinse
Garnish: Lemon Zest or Pineapple Slice
Rinse rocks glass with absinthe and discard excess. Combine remaining ingredients into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir until well chilled. Strain mixture into the empty absinthe-rinsed rocks glass, garnish with lemon express and pineapple slice. Enjoy!
