CLASSIC WHISKEY COCKTAILS RECIPES

APPLE CIDER SOUR

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey

1/2 oz Creme de Cacao

3/4 oz Lemon Juice

3/4 oz Apple Cider Syrup

-Combine 1 part Apple Cider and 1 part White Sugar

-Stir until dissolved

1 Dash Aromatic Bitters

DIRECTIONS

• Add ingredients to shaker.

• Add ice.

• Shake 10 sec. until cold.

• Strain into a coupe glass.

• Garnish with apple slice or star anise and enjoy.

CRANBERRY BUCK

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 oz Bourbon

3/4 oz Lemon Juice

3/4 oz Cranberry-Rosemary Syrup

-Add a few sprigs of fresh Rosemary to 1 part Cranberries and 1 part Water. Bring to a boil until the berries "split".

-Strain the liquid ("tea") and mix 1 part "Tea" with 1 part White Sugar. Stir until dissolved.

2 oz Ginger Beer

1 dash Aromatic Bitters

DIRECTIONS

• Add ingredients (except ginger beer) to shaker.

• Add ice.

• Shake 10 sec. until cold.

• Strain over ice in a collins glass.

• Top with ginger beer. Stir gently.

• Garnish with a cranberry skewer or rosemary sprig.

RYE MANHATTAN

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey

3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth Syrup

2 dashes Aromatic Bitters

(Angostura or similar)

DIRECTIONS

• Combine ingredients in a mixing glass.

• Add ice.

• Stir 20 sec. until cold.

• Strain into a coupe-type glass.

• Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
